We became seriously interested in investment property as a potential income source for our future retirement and wanted to ensure we made educated decisions. Our company, HRG, was created at a time when our adult children were at an age when they wanted to begin looking for their first homes. Over the years, we were fortunate to have guided them all through their first-time home buying experience while thoroughly enjoying the process. As lifelong residents of Millbury we have assisted family, friends and friends of friends in either selling or purchasing property. It is a personal experience, service and dedication we provide and specialize in. We enjoy helping first time home buyers, downsizers, upscalers and people selling their family homestead.

Linda Pothier
Hi! I’m Linda. My husband Gary, the other half of the Pothier Team, and I, began house hunting as a hobby many years ago. Who knew that ultimately we would turn our little hobby into a fulfilling business helping others buy and sell their homes? Gary and I grew up in Western Mass in Chicopee, met and married, and started raising a family. When Gary’s job brought us to Central Mass in 1984, we settled our family in the town of Millbury and have since made our home on Dorothy Pond. We love it here and do not plan on leaving anytime soon!
In addition to being a licensed Massachusetts real estate agent, I am a current member of the National Board of Realtors, Worcester Regional Association of Realtors and Massachusetts Association of Realtors. I am also an active member of the Asa Waters Mansion Task Force and the Friends of Asa Waters Mansion with an emphasis on the restoration and preservation of one of Millbury’s beautiful historical sites.
My main objective as a Realtor is to provide the finest service I possibly can, and to ensure my client has a stress free and enjoyable experience. A few of the services I provide include advising on cost saving tips to maximize a home’s value and appeal and assisting in the preparation of property to show at its most desirable. In working with buyers, I walk them through the home buying process and negotiate the best terms and value without financially burdening the buyer. I truly love what I do and I look forward to assisting both buyers and sellers in their real estate transaction experiences.
Gary Pothier
Hi, I’m Gary, and in May of 2007 I became a Realtor, and joined Homestead Realty Group immediately after receiving my license. I was looking toward the future, and thinking in terms of supplementing my retirement. What I discovered was the enjoyment I received from helping first time home buyers realize their dream of owning a home of their own, what a feeling. That kind of made supplementing my retirement secondary.
I grew up in Chicopee, met, married, and started raising a family with Linda. My job at the time brought me out this way, where we settled in the town of Millbury in 1984, and now that we have made our residence on Dorothy Pond, we do not plan on leaving anytime soon.
During the winter of 2008/09 I had a temporary layoff from my job, which I took advantage of and took some real estate courses: Loss Mitigation Certification, and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Besides being a member of National Board of Realtor, Worcester Regional Association of Realtors and Massachusetts Association of Realtors, I am also co-chair of the Dorothy Pond Restoration & Preservation Committee and 2nd Vice President of the Dorothy Pond Watershed Association.
